(including enhanced version)
Stryker's Run is a classic 2D side-scrolling gun-and-run action game. It was generally well received on release and was noted for the quality of its graphics.
The game takes place entirely on a single level, on a scrolling landscape, and is set during a futuristic war. The aim of the game is to escape with the enemy’s attack-plans and reach Allied headquarters. You are armed with a laser pistol and grenades. You can also commandeer aircraft that can be used until the fuel runs out.
The original cassette release of Stryker's Run had the standard version of the game on one side of the cassette and an enhanced version on the other side, while the original disc release would ask you if you wanted the 128K version if it detected the appropriate hardware.
